A Kids Coach supports children’s emotional wellbeing, helping them build confidence, resilience, and coping skills to navigate challenges like anxiety, bullying, low self-esteem, and stress. Just like a sports coach, I guide kids to strengthen their mindset, build emotional resilience, and develop the life skills they need to thrive.
An 8 week program combining yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, personal development activities and engaging discussions. The aim of this program is to empower children to build their own resilience, strength and self-confidence.
Programs are held in small, age-appropriate groups and 1:1 sessions are also available to target specific needs.
Introduce Yoga Therapy to your School or Kindergarten! These fun and engaging sessions help students improve focus, reduce stress, build resilience and have an ultimate goal of reducing the effects of bullying and other behavioural issues. Through a mix of movement, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities, students will learn how to manage their emotions and stay calm during challenging situations.
Exciting things are coming! My therapy room is currently being renovated, and I’m now taking expressions of interest for childrens counselling sessions once it’s ready!
Hi, I’m Amy! I live in Hervey Bay with my husband, 2 kids, and a Border Collie, and I am a qualified Counsellor and Kids Yoga Teacher. I also volunteer as a Lifeline Telephone Crisis Supporter, have completed specialised training in Youth Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Intervention, and am currently studying my Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Behavioural Studies.
When I’m not working or studying, you’ll find me at Pilates, tackling new house projects (my husband just loves that!), or enjoying a Friday afternoon wine with my mum - very Kath & Kim style!
